Our Elite Forwards and Defensemen camp is a mix of our popular Specialized Defense Camp and Elite Hockey Skills Camp. In this camp, the focus will be on Elite level individual skating, puck control, passing and shooting drills during the first half of each day. The second part of each day will involve competition, speed and battle drills. Through a wide variety of offensive and defensive game-type situations, student will help push each other to the next level of their development.

These days defensemen must be mobile, quick thinkers able to move with the puck to create scoring opportunities and threatening line rushes. With this in mind, World Class Hockey offers a program that will not only teach how to defend your own end, but will allow the student to gain confidence in skating with the puck and joining the rush. Every team needs a defenseman that can be a great offensive contributor. This program will provide all the skills needed to become a defenseman that can break up the play, then turn it up the other way. All of the essential defensive skills will also be covered. (e.g. backwards skating including acceleration and pivots, 1 on 1’s, 2 on 1’s, holding the blue line, breakout passes, transitional play and covering the front of the net). This program is a must for all defensemen!
