What registration fees are required?

All participants must be current Sports Hub Members prior to registering for a class or attending a team practice. Sports Hub Memberships must be kept current throughout the entire session.

What if I can’t make it to one of my classes?

We offer one make-up per session. We ask that you inform us prior to the missed class and we will provide you with the available make up options. We typically offer many other class times, so usually this is not a problem; however we cannot guarantee that space will be available. Please note that you cannot carryover make-up classes into later sessions (i.e. If the class was missed during the Summer Session, it must be made up during the summer session and will not carry over into fall).

Can we pay as we go during the session?

The entire session must be paid in full at the time of registration, but because we offer open enrollment, class fees may be prorated.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes! We offer a sibling discount of 10% off for each additional child registered.

Can we come on any day?

No. In order to maintain class ratios and consistency within the program, we schedule children for specific times and days. When registering, be sure to first determine which day best suits your schedule. Of course there may be an occasion when a make-up class is needed. In that situation, you can schedule a make-up class for any day in which class space is available. If your schedule changes during the session, and you need to switch days, we will try to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability. However, changes cannot be guaranteed and are based on space availability.

What’s your refund policy?

If withdrawing a child from the current session, you will be issued a credit for future classes and not for any classes that have already occurred. Annual or family registration fees will not be credited. Credits are valid for one year and may be used towards any Sports Hub Program.

What if my child is not feeling well?

If your child is showing the following symptoms of illness, or if they have been diagnosed with any infectious diseases, we ask that you keep your child home. Examples of symptoms include:

  • fever within the past 24 hours
  • diarrhea, nausea or vomiting
  • a constant runny nose or a cough not caused by allergies
  • a rash that has not been checked by a doctor

Once your child has fully recovered, please reach out concerning a make-up class. Additional make-up classes may be available with a doctor’s note, but these make-up classes are not guaranteed.

Are parents allowed in the class/field?

Parent/Child Classes require a guardian be participating in the class with the child. For all other classes, parents/spectators/guardians are not allowed on the fields during class. Depending on the program, you may be asked to sit outside the field/behind the class, on the bleachers, or to the side of the field. The viewing options are at the discretion of Sports Hub Management.

What payment methods are accepted?
You can remit payment via cash, check or credit card for all or part of program/class fees. All checks are to be made payable to “Long Island Sports Hub.” Please note that any payments made via credit card will be assessed a 3% processing fee.
