Learn To Skate

The SPORTS HUB Learn To Skate program is the perfect opportunity for boys and girls who have never skated to learn the proper fundamentals and technique, ultimately allowing students to progress into our in-house hockey leagues, a travel hockey organization, figure skating, etc. Our classes are offered on Sunday mornings and Monday afternoons.

Children will be divided up by skill level and work in small groups with instructors to focus on introducing children to the ice and developing coordination and balance in a creative and playful environment. Our goal is to create independent skaters who will be prepared for Hockey 101 or Figure Skating! Those who have a solid foundation of skating can begin in our Hockey 101 class where they will hone their skills in skating, passing, shooting and stick handling, These players will progress to Hockey 201 and more advanced programs such as our in-house league. All classes are taught by in-house hockey coaches.
